The patrols will focus on impaired drivers.

(Dry Ridge, Ky.) - With Labor Day weekend fast approaching, Kentucky State Police are reminding everyone to plan ahead to prevent impaired driving.
Kentucky State Police Post 6-Dry Ridge will be increasing their presence and enforcement in northern Kentucky during the holiday weekend, including increased patrols at River Fest and WEBN fireworks in Campbell County.
Additional units will be assisting northern Kentucky agencies in maintaining safe roadways.
During the 2017 Labor Day weekend there were 25 people arrested for driving under the influence throughout the Dry Ridge Post area. There was also one fatal accident due to the operator being under the influence.
The Kentucky State Police are encouraging anyone that decides to drink to be responsible and to designate a sober ride.
