Kentucky State Police Investigating Fatal Fire in Carroll County

(Carroll County, Ky.) – One person was found deceased following a structure fire in Carroll County.

Multiple agencies responded to the fire on Sunday afternoon at a home on Amanda Lane.

Initial reports suggested there was possibly a person still inside the residence.

The blaze was extinguished by firefighters from Carroll and Henry counties. Afterwards, unidentified human remains were located inside the residence.

No foul play is suspected.

The investigation is ongoing.
