Kentucky State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Gallatin Co.

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday.

(Gallatin County, Ky.) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Gallatin County on Saturday.

Kentucky State Police were dispatched to the collision on U.S. 42 east, where a motorcycle and pickup truck collided.

According to the KSP’s initial investigation, Joseph Gilbertson, 41, of Warsaw, was traveling on U.S. 42 when he crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck traveling the opposite direction.

Gilbertson was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information was provided as the accident remains under investigation.
