Slide correction project.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Beaty Construction, Inc. closed State Road 101 on Tuesday.
The closure is just northeast of Brookville to complete a slide correction project.
State Road 101 is expected to reopen at this location in late July, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 1 to S.R. 44 to S.R. 101.
This project is part of a $1.5 million contract awarded to Beaty Construction in November 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
