Investigation Underway After Officer-Involved Crash in Aurora

(Aurora, Ind.) - A Dearborn County Sheriff's deputy was involved in a crash at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Hilltop Drive in Aurora on Wednesday. 

The deputy was responding to a domestic call in the area around 5:03 p.m. with his lights and siren on when the two-vehicle crash occurred in a construction zone. 

The deputy was transported to St. Elizabeth Dearborn where he was treated for a lower leg injury. 

The other drive was uninjured. 

No other information has been released at this time.
