INDOT To Host Statewide Hiring Event; Aurora Sub-District A Host Site

The hiring event takes place Thursday, October 28.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Indiana Department of Transportation will be hosting a Statewide Winter Hiring Event next week.

Aurora Sub-District will be one of the host sites on Thursday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Full time winter seasonal employees earn $20 per hour and on-call snowplow drivers earn $24 per hour. Winter season employees must have a CDL at the time of the interview.

Winter seasonal CDL drivers who work full-time may qualify for $250 sign-on and $500 retention bonuses.

INDOT is primarily looking to fill winter seasonal positions, but other job openings are available for highway technicians, mechanics, and engineers.

Registration is not required for next week’s hiring event.
