INDOT: State Road 1 Project on Schedule

(Guilford, Ind.) – The slide repair project on State Road 1 is on schedule.

According to INDOT, State Road 1 is on track to reopen in December, just south of Guilford.

State Road 1 has been closed at Mt. Pleasant Road since the middle of April.

Motorists are reminded that the official detour route follows State Road 1 to I-74 to I-275 to U.S. 50 back to State Road 1.

The project is part of a $2.1 million contract awarded to Sunesis Construction in December 2023.
