(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Black ice is possible on local roads Thursday morning.
Some light snow and rapidly falling temperatures overnight have caused some icing, leading to many local schools signaling a delay or closure.
Motorists are asked to use caution, especially on bridges and overpasses. Slick areas have been reported on State Road 350 and Stateline Road in Dearborn County, State Road 56 in Ohio County, and Interstate 71 in northern Kentucky.
Flooding from Wednesday’s deluge of rain has also caused some low-lying roads in Franklin County to be closed, including Pipe Creek Road.
