The goal of this event is to raise funds to support under resourced people in the area.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - An upcoming 5K will support the Life Center at Whitewater and its mission of helping people in hopeless situations.

The Hope 5K takes place Saturday, October 21 at the Dearborn Trail in Lawrenceburg. The key objective of the race is to raise funds to support initiatives to help anyone in the community having a difficult time with what they need to grow.

Funds raised at the 5K will also be used to support expansion of Life Center services to other underserved communities.

Race day check-in is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at the clock tower on Walnut Street. The race will begin at 10:00 and will be followed by an after-party at Lawrenceburg Civic Park, which will include a kids race, food, and music.

All in person registrations get a t-shirt, a medal, and racing bib.

Each participate is challenged to work on your own to reach personal fundraising / sponsoring goals from friends and family of $100.
