(Batesville, Ind.) – A Batesville staple is for sale.

The Sherman has hit the market for the first-time following renovations in 2016 and 2017.

Formerly known as the Sherman House, The Sherman is a 22-room boutique hotel in the heart of Batesville, featuring The Sherman 1852 Restaurant, and a 7,200-square-foot Bier Hall that connects to a 3,000-square-foot outdoor venue.

The Sherman has been one of the more recognizable establishments in Batesville since it opened 170 years ago. The hotel is part of the Historic Hotels of America program.

The historic hotel is listed by Meisberger and Associates.
