Here's A Reminder That Indiana Property Taxes Are Due May 10

The spring installment of property tax bills are due by Friday, May 10 in most Indiana counties.

Indiana property owners must pay the spring installment of their 2018 payable 2019 property tax bills to their county treasurer's office by Friday, May 10.  

Below are announcements from local counties regarding tax bill payments

 

DEARBORN COUNTY

The 2019 Property Tax Bills are in the mail.  If you are responsible for paying property tax and did not receive your statement(s), please contact our office immediately at 812-537-8811 or email bscherzinger@dearborncounty.in.gov.

The Spring tax installment is due Friday, May 10th ,   2019. You may pay your property tax in one of the following ways:

  • In person at the Treasurer’s Office Monday – Friday from 8:30 – 4:30.  Please note the Government Center is closed on Holidays and Election Day.
  • By mail postmarked by May 10th, 2019 to Dearborn Co. Treasurer, 165 Mary Street, Lawrenceburg, IN  47025.  Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned.
  • After office hours by using our drop-box located outside of Dearborn County Government Center, 165 Mary St., go up the steps and located to the right of the building is Treasurer’s Drop Box.   Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned.  Please, do not leave cash.
  • By credit card by visiting the county website at www.dearborncounty.org.  Go to the “Treasurer’s Page” under “Taxes” and on the left side of the page select “Property Tax Payment Options” under “Topics of Interest”. or you may call Pay-Gov directly at 1-866-480-8552.  Please have your bill ready so necessary information can be found.
  •  If you have any questions, please contact our office by calling 812-537-8811, FAX 812-532-3243 or email bscherzinger@dearborncounty.in.gov as soon as possible to allow time to resolve any issues there may be.  You may also visit our website at www.dearborncounty.org to view your tax information by selecting Property Search (GIS) under the Taxes menu.

Ripley County Treasurer’s Office hours are:

Monday May 6th 8-4

Tuesday May 7th 8-4

Wednesday May 8th 8-4

Thursday May 9th 8-4

Friday May 10th 8-4

(*Please note that we will not be staying open late)

Taxes are due on Friday May 10th. 

Please remember if they are postmarked as May 10th they are considered an on time payment.
