Greensburg Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

(Ripley County, Ind.) - A motorcyclist from Greensburg has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that occurred in eastern Ripley County.

The two-vehicle crash took place on Monday, July 6 around 5:30 p.m.

Indiana State Police say Augustis Reichman, 55, was eastbound on State Road 350 when he struck the rear of a vehicle being driven by Debora Peters, 64, of Milan.

Reichman was transported to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, where he was pronounced deceased.

Peters was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing. Toxicology results are pending although alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors.
