The event is open to Greendale residents only who need to get rid of unwanted household items.

(Greendale, Ind.) – The City of Greendale will host the first of their Spring Clean Up Day this Saturday, May 7.
Dumpsters will be set up at the Rand Avenue Garage from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for Greendale residents only.
The dumpsters will be avaialble free of charge to get rid of unwanted household items.
The city will not be able to accept tires, freon, refrigerators, deep freezers, air conditioning units, liquid, oil, batteries, florescent bulbs, or any hazardous materials.
The event will also feature a free furniture exchange area.
Other clean up events will take place throughout the month of May including a roadway clean up and shred day.
