(Greendale, Ind.) - A Harrison woman is facing two felony charges after an incident at Sunshine Corner in Greendale.
Jordan Combs, 23, has been charged in Dearborn County with one count of Battery (Child Under 14 & Injury), Level 5 Felony, and Battery (Child Under 14), Level 6 Felony.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Greendale Police received a report on October 22 that Combs was caring for a 19-month-old when she allegedly touched the child aggressively, causing the child to have a bloody lip.
Combs received her initial hearing in court on Monday in front of Judge James Humphrey. She is being held in Dearborn County Jail on $50,000 surety in addition to $50,000 cash only bond.
A pre-trial hearing is set for December 17 at 9:00 a.m. A jury trial is currently scheduled for February 18.
