Gov. Braun Directs Flags to Half Staff for Peace Officers Memorial Day

INDIANAPOLIS - Governor Mike Braun is directing all flags to be flown at half-staff in the State of Indiana on Thursday, May 15, in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week is an observance in the United States that pays tribute to the local, state, and federal peace officers who have died, or who have been disabled, in the line of duty

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in the State of Indiana on Thursday, May 15.

Governor Braun is asking businesses and residents located in Indiana to lower their flags as well.
