Rising Sun's girls basketball team will host Switzerland County on January 28th.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – An upcoming high school basketball rivalry game will raise funds for three families in need.
Rising Sun’s girls basketball team will host Switzerland County on Tuesday, January 28.
The “Game for Good” formerly known as the Cancer Game will support the following families:
- Stacey Lange, a Rising Sun alum married to another RSHS alum Sammie Lange, was recently diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. His chemo begins on Monday.
- Chris Sullivan, mother of RSHS girls basketball coach Jessica Peelman and 3rd grade teacher Jennifer Craig and grandparent to RSHS and SCHS students and players, is battling end stage lung disease among other heart and lung related illnesses. She is currently in hospice care.
- Micaiah Holliday, son of SCHS teacher Shaun Holliday, suffered a rare brain injury in September that required immediate surgery. Surgery was a success but requires ongoing rehabilitation.
The night will feature free will donations, in memory of/in celebration of, and Shoot for the Stars proceeds.

The Game for Good will start with the junior varsity at 6:00 p.m., followed by the varsity contest at 7:30.
