Fundraiser Started for Local Business Owner Battling Cancer

A GoFundMe will help with medical bills.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been started to support a local business owner who is battling cancer.

Steve Ochs was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer this summer.

He and his wife, Lavonne, operate Performance Machining and The Rustic Nail in Dillsboro.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the Ochs with mounting medical bills. To date, $1,580 has been raised towards a $5,000 goal.
