Fundraiser Launched to Support Local Man Cover Imperative Surgery Cost

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A GoFundMe has been launched to support a beloved community member who is often there for others.

Dickie Jackson is facing an imperative surgery that costs $30,000. The surgery is not covered by medical insurance, creating a heavy financial burden.

"Anyone who knows Dickie knows how much support, kindness, and care he gives so freely to the people around him. He has shown up for so many, and now he needs his community to show up for him," said fundraising organizer Lisa Slack.

The funds raised will help Jackson afford this necessary surgery and cover related expenses, so he can focus on healing instead of worrying about the cost.
