Friendship State Bank Opens Newest Branch in Bright

(Bright, Ind.) - Friendship State Bank is excited to announce the opening of its newest branch in Bright, Indiana, bringing hometown banking and trusted financial guidance to the community. The first official transaction at the new location was completed by Allen Goodman, a longtime Friendship State Bank customer and Bright resident, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Friendship’s commitment to serving the area.

“We are thrilled to open our doors in Bright and continue our mission of providing transparent, local, community-centered banking,” said Chris Meyer, Friendship CEO and President. “Having Allen Goodman, one of our dedicated customers, be part of our first official transaction is a meaningful way to launch our presence here in Bright.”

Meet the Bright Branch Team

The Bright branch is led by Branch Manager Kim Stock, whose extensive experience in community banking ensures customers receive expert guidance tailored to their financial goals. Supporting Kim is Head Teller Leah Stirn, along with Tellers Tiffany Horstman and Kim Adkins, who bring a warm, customer-first approach to daily banking needs. Loan Officer Gina Davidson is available to assist customers with mortgage, personal, and business lending solutions, ensuring Bright-area residents have access to competitive loan options and local decision-making.

The new branch was designed to provide a modern, welcoming space that enhances the customer experience. A huge shout-out goes to Pete Gambetta, internal Project Manager and Facilities Manager, whose leadership, attention to detail, and commitment were instrumental in making this project a success. Pete, along with LaDessia Thayer and the entire IT and Facilities team, worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the Bright branch was ready to serve customers with the technology, security, and infrastructure needed to deliver the exceptional service Friendship is known for.
