(INDIANAPOLIS) - All five southeastern Indiana counties in Eagle Country saw their unemployment rate drop in July.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development released employment data for Indiana counties, cities and MSA’s on Monday.

Among local counties, Ohio County had the best jobless rate in July at 3.0 percent, followed by Franklin County at 3.2 percent.
Unemployment rates in Ripley, Dearborn, and Switzerland counties, ranged from 3.3 percent to 3.9 percent.
Of the five counties, each have an unemployment rate below the state average of 4.1 percent and the national average of 5.4 percent.
