(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Dozens of fireworks displays will be held in the tri-state this weekend and through next week.

 

 

Friday, June 29

 

Osgood, Ind. – Ripley County Chamber of Commerce Fireworks at the Ripley County Fairgrounds. Vendors open at 4:00 p.m., music at 6:00, fireworks at dusk. Free admission.

 

Versailles, Ind. – Versailles State Park fireworks at dusk.

 

 

Saturday, June 30

 

Aurora, Ind. – Aurora Firecracker Festival from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in Lesko Park

 

Brookville, Ind. - Canoefest fireworks at the Brookville Town Park at 10:15 p.m.

 

 

Tuesday, July 3

 

Florence, Ky. - Festival from 5:00-11:00 p.m. at Florence Government Center. Fireworks at dark.

 

Milan, Ind. – Community fireworks at dusk provided by the Town of Milan at Baker Memorial Park. Food vendors in the park. Free admission.

 

Rising Sun, Ind. – The Rising Sun Lions Club presents fireworks in Shiner Park located behind the schools. The fireworks will begin at dusk. Rain date July 4. Bring a chair or a blanket.

 

 

Wednesday, July 4

 

Greendale, Ind. - Greendale's Fourth of July festivities begin with the Greendale 5K Run/Walk. Registration beings at 7:00am at Greendale Cabin with the start at 9:00 a.m. Fishing derby for kids 3-16 years of age from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Schnebelt Pond. Kids Bike Parade from Oakey Park to Greendal Cabin begins at 3:00 p.m. Greendale Pool free noon-6:00. Fireworks at Greendale Park begin at dusk.

 

Harrison, Oh. - Fourth of July Celebration from 2:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Harrison Community Center. Parade through downtown begins at 2:00, followed by family entertainment and live music from 5:00 to 11:00 at the Community Center, 300 George Street. Fireworks at dusk. Free admission.

 

Milan, Ind. - Milan Lions Club Fourth fo July Parade begins on Main Street at 11:00 a.m. Parade participant registration begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Milan High School parking lot. Chicken dinner at the Milan Volunteer Fire Department 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. 

 

 

Saturday, July 7

 

Burlington, Ky. - 4th for Our Soldiers will be held in the Arborwood Subdivision in Burlington. The band "The Truth" will be performing. There will also be a silent auction, and the Rozzi Family will be providing a fireworks display. Visit www.4thforoursoldiers.com to see a list of featured guests and activities for the event.
