(Bright, Ind.) – Multiple agencies battled a fire and bitter cold temperatures on Tuesday morning.
Bright Fire Department received a call for a structure fire on Mayfield Lane just after 7:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a pole barn fully involved. Crews battled the fire for over four hours while dealing with temperatures below 10 degrees and freezing hose lines.
With volunteer levels being low, departments from St. Leon, Greendale, Lawrenceburg, Aurora, and Whitewater Township assisted at the scene.
The pole barn is being considered a complete loss.
