Fire Destroys Storage Building At Cleves Business

The blaze was reported on Cilley Road around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

(Miami Township, Oh.) – A Cleves business went up in flames Thursday afternoon.

Nine fire departments responded to the blaze at Jack Boiman Sons and Daughters on the 9600 block of Cilley Road around 4:30 p.m., reports FOX-19.

Whitewater Township Fire Chief Scott Schorsch reported that the fired started in a storage building next to the business' main building. Firefighters were on the scene for at least three hours fighting the flames.

A cause of the fire has not been determined, but it was reported that some flammable liquid tanks were inside the storage facility.

No injuries were reported. One firefighter is ok after being checked for heat exhaustion.

Assisting at the scene were crews from Crosby Township, Delhi Township, Harrison, Miami Township, Ross Township, Aurora, Bright and Greendale.
