East Central and Harrison supporters came together to donate items last Friday.

Matthew 25 Ministries collected donations from East Central HS on Monday.
(St. Leon, Ind.) – Donations made at last Friday’s East Central versus Harrison football game are on their way to Maui.
Both communities came together to donate over 740 items to aid the victims of the Maui wildfires.
East Central Student Council led the donation drive by collecting paper products, hygiene items, infant supplies and cases of bottled water.
Matthew 25 Ministries also lent a helping hand by picking up the donated items on Monday.
Over 100 people have been reported dead in the wildfires with another 388 people still believed to be missing. On Monday, the Maui Fire Department reported the following:
- Olinda fire: Remains 85% contained. Estimated 1,081 acres.
- Kula fire: Remains 90% contained. Estimated 202 acres.
- Lahaina fire: Remains 90% contained. Estimated 2,170 acres.
