(St. Leon, Ind.) – AN East Central FFA team placed in the top 10 at a recent competition.
The Indiana 4-H/FFA Wildlife Habitat Career Development Event was held last Saturday at the John S. Wright Forestry Center at Purdue University.
The team of Isabelle Leurck, Kody Schilling, Parker Simpson, and Peyton Zinzer placed 4th overall.
Kody Schilling was the top placing individual, finishing 9th out of 33 competitors.
Members identified preserved wildlife species, completed a general wildlife knowledge exam, evaluated wildlife habitats and recommended management practices, and completed a wildlife management plan from a given scenario.
