Eagle 99.3 Announces Football Broadcasts

file photo (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Another thrilling season of southeast Indiana high school football will be heard on Eagle 99.3 this fall.   As teams prepare for the upcoming season with workouts and two-a-days, the radio station is making its plans to spotlights one area high school football game each Friday night.   The season will begin August 17 with the Battle of U.S. 50 as Lawrenceburg kicks off its season against rival South Dearborn. Week 2 coverage will feature the border war between East Central and Harrison.   The full Eagle 99.3 High School Football broadcast schedule can be viewed here. Pregame coverage will begin approximately 20 minutes prior to kickoff.  Coverage will continue as long as our local teams advance in the IHSAA State Football Tournament, the sectional first round through the state finals.   Eagle 99.3 Sports won the Indiana Broadcasters Association Spectrum Award for “Best Sportscast” in 2008 and 2010.   All games will be announced by two sportscasters from the station’s roster of Mike Perleberg, Josh Anderson, Chuck Thomas, Pete Arnold, Rob Moorhead, and Keegan Haag.   Businesses interested in sponsoring Eagle 99.3 High School Sports in 2012-13 should contact the station’s sales staff.
