Driver Injured In Metamora Wreck

Two vehicles hit on U.S. 52 on Saturday.

(Metamora, Ind.) - Two vehicles collided on US 52 in Franklin County on Saturday, sending one person to the hospital.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Department deputies says Trisha Boggs, 40, of Metamora, was driving east on U.S. 52 at State Road 229 when she struck a pickup truck that was turning at around 1:28 p.m. on September 29.

The driver of the truck, Michael Weiskittel, 48, of Metamora, was transported by Laurel EMS to Margaret Mary Health in Batesville with non-life threatening injuries.

Boggs was not hurt.

Metamora Fire Department and Responder 24 assisted at the crash scene.
