Vehicle, Home Damaged In State Road 1 Crash

The crash happened Thursday night around 7:00 p.m.

(Guilford, Ind.) - A car and home both receive damage after a property damage crash in Dearborn County.

The incident occurred Thursday around 7:00 PM on the 24000 block of State Road 1 in Guilford.

Morgan Speier, 25, of Coatesville, IN was the driver of the car that crashed into the home.

After Dearborn County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the home, an investigation determined that the steering to Speier’s vehicle as well as the brakes had locked up while maneuvering through a curve in the road.

This led to the vehicle running off the road and into the home, damaging the interior and exterior of the home.

Luckily, there were no injuries reported in the accident.
