(Dillsboro, Ind.) - A Dillsboro resident was allegedly selling pills and methamphetamine.
Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit detectives say they set up drug buys from Richard E. Main using an undercover officer. Main sold oxycodone pills and methamphetamine on two separate occasions in Dillsboro last April, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Main is in jail at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center charged with Dealing in a Narcotic Drug (level 5 felony) and Dealing in Methamphetamine (level 5 felony). Main remains held Friday on a bond of $75,000 surety and $1,500 cash.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges during his initial appearance in court on October 9.
The 32-year-old is also charged with being a habitual offender, which could lengthen his stay behind bars. He has past convictions for crimes including burglary, theft, reckless driving, resisting law enforcement, and drug possession.
