(Manchester, Ind.) - A Dillsboro man was killed after being involved in a motorcycle accident late Sunday evening.
Around 10:30 p.m., Dearborn County Sheriff's Deputies and Manchester Fire and EMS were dispatched to State Route 48 near Louden Road for a report of a motorcycle crash.
When deputies arrived, it was reported that Gary Klopp, 52, of Dillsboro had been traveling east on State Route 48 on a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Klopp left the roadway and struck a culvert, where he was thrown from the motorcycle and hit a utility pole.
UC Air Care was called to assist; however, Klopp was pronounced dead at the scene.
