It's Dillsboro Homecoming Festival Week

The four-day event begins on Wednesday.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) - Four nights of family fun is coming to Dillsboro this week. 

The annual Dillsboro Homecoming Festival kicks off on Wednesday, May 17 and runs through Saturday, May 20. 

This year's theme is "Bulldog Days". 

Festivities start Wednesday with the Opening Ceremony at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Prince and Princess contest, Outstanding Citizen Award presentation, King and Queen contest, Senior King and Queen contest, and Police, EMS and Fireman Awards. 

The CMN Trio will provide live music on night one at 8:30. 

On Thursday, the popular Baby Contest returns. Registration will take place from 5:30 to 6:45. The entry fee is $5 for babies up to 24 months old. 

Local favorite My Brothers Keeper will take the stage at the conclusion of the baby contest. 

Friday, Eagle Country 99.3 will broadcast live from the festival from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Our broadcast will lead up to the Frog Jumping and Best Dressed contests. Registration will start at 5:00. The contests will begin at 6:15. 

The Monsters of Yacht (70s and 80s hits) take the stage at 8:00. 

Saturday will feature a full day of fun. The Homecoming Festival 5K starts the day at 8:00 a.m. Runners and walkers can register for the event starting at 7:00 a.m.

The Homecoming Parade takes off at 11:00. 

Other Friday festivities include performances from the South Dearborn Middle School Showcase and South Dearborn Opening Knight show choir, and live professional wrestling from the Professional Wrestling Alliance. 

The Dillsboro Homecoming Festival will wrap up with live music from The Renegades (7:00 p.m.) and 11-time CMA nominee Exile. The country music group has sold 8 million national records and have 10 #1 Billboard hits.
