(Hebron, Ky.) - More than 100 Delta Air Lines workers at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport could lose their jobs this spring. The airline says 120 people will be laid off or transferred to other airports, according to a memo sent from Bill Lentsch, Delta’s senior vice president of airport customer service and cargo operations. Another 185 employees will have their hours cut. The cuts effective May 1 will affect customer service and cargo employees. Lentsch said that the cargo operation at CVG has been overstaffed since 2010. He indicated that there are no current changes to the airline’s flight schedule here. It’s the latest in a long line of reductions for Delta locally. The airline has already curt around 600 flights at CVG since 2005.
