Dearborn Co. YP Scholarship Applications Available

The application deadline is Friday, May 11.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Part of Dearborn County Young Professionals’ mission is to support the next generation of outstanding individuals and entrepreneurs in our community. One of the ways the organization does that is by offering our DCYP Future Leaders of Dearborn County Scholarships.

The organization is awarding scholarships. Eligible individuals include Dearborn County residents who are a senior in high school or home school set to graduate in spring 2020.

Applicants are required to show their work experience, school activities, and community volunteer efforts. They must also complete an essay about an idea for a new or improved business in Dearborn County.

A successful applicant should include two letters of recommendation from teachers or professionals outside of their immediate family. A copy of the student’s most recent report card or transcript is also requested.

Completed applications should be emailed to dearborncountyyp@gmail.com Applications may also be sent by U.S. mail or delivered in person to Dearborn County Young Professionals, C/O Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce, 320 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, Indiana 47025. Scholarship applications must be received or postmarked by Friday, May 11, 2020.

Scholarship winners will be determined by members of the Dearborn County Young Professionals Committee.
