(Dearborn County, Ind.) - A flag which once flew over a military installation in Afghanistan will be on display in the Dearborn County Government Center.
Command Sgt. Maj. Troy D. Craft, a Greendale resident, donated the encased flag to Dearborn County Commissioners.
The banner flew over Camp Resolute Support in Kabul, Afghanistan on September 11, 2017. Craft, who we wrote about in August 2017, was at the ceremony when the flag was raised.
He was honored to donate it to his home county, says Dearborn County Administrator Sue Hayden.
