Dearborn Co. Rivals Have Game Halted Following Medical Emergency in Stands

South Dearborn was leading East Central when the game was suspended in the 4th quarter on Wednesday night.

(Aurora, Ind.) - East Central and South Dearborn's boys varsity basketball teams were taken off the court on Wednesday night due to a medical emergency in the stands. 

The game was officially suspended with 5:53 seconds left in the 4th quarter and a 46-31 lead for South Dearborn. 

Eagle Country 99.3 was broadcasting the game on Wednesday, and immediately stopped the broadcast while medical personnel attended to the patient. 

CPR was administered and the patient appeared to be responsive as they were stretchered to a waiting ambulance. 

The name of the patient and their current status has not been released.
