The Boone County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of the off-road vehicle accident Thursday night in Verona.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office has identified Nicholas Morales, 50, of Walton, as the victim of the off-road vehicle accident Thursday night in Verona.
Investigators say a neighbor located Morales face down in a creek at a farm located on Miller Owens Road. The ATV was on top of him.
Initial indications are that Morales crossed the creek and started up a steep embankment when the vehicle rolled over on him trapping him in the creek, the sheriff's office stated.
Morales helped take care of that property. Police say he was last heard from just after midnight on Thursday, May 17.
His next of kin have been notified.

(Verona, Ky.) - A man reportedly drowned after his ATV crashed into a creek on a Boone County farm Thursday night.
The victim was found drowned in the creek on private property near Verona-Mudlick Road and U.S. 42 at around 8:30 p.m.
Authorities have not said exactly how the ATV operator may have ended up in the creek.
