By Mike Perleberg (Greensburg, Ind.) - A Moores Hill woman was injured in a deadly crash near the Honda plant in Greensburg Tuesday morning. Greensburg Police said the wreck happened at around 5:45 a.m. at the entrance to Honda Manufacturing of Indiana. Delana Brown, 61, of Moores Hill, had failed to yield at a green light while traveling north on U.S. 421 and made a left turn in a Toyota SUV into the path of a southbound Saturn car driven by Keidra Yorn, 24, of St. Paul. Yorn was flown by medical helicopter to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was eventually pronounced dead. A young girl in Yorn’s car was seriously injured. She was taken by ambulance to Decatur County Memorial Hospital, then later airlifted to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. A five-year-old girl in the Yorn car was treated at the scene and released. Brown, who police said worked at HMIN, was taken by ambulance to Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Her condition was not released. Greensburg’s assistant fire chief told the Greensburg Daily News that investigators do not believe that Yorn, Brown, or the injured girl were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
