Crossroads Family Restaurant to be Featured on America's Best Restaurants

(Versailles, Ind.) - Local restaurant Crossroads Family Restaurant will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants (ABR) in early March 2024.

America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants, will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant on March 4th. Popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with owners Greg and Kim Evans about the restaurant’s special place in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date.

Situated at the intersection of Highways 50 and 421 in Versailles, Crossroads Family Restaurant was built around a Sears & Roebuck catalog home that was first assembled for a dentist by the Civil Conservation Corps. The Evans remodeled the home in 2000, adding a dining room and a commercial kitchen to turn the space into a family-style restaurant.

Crossroads Family Restaurant was nominated to be on the Roadshow by a customer. The menu offers country cooking at its finest, from hand-cut steaks to the Hoosier specialty of breaded pork tenderloins. Other popular items include the barbecued ribs, jumbo hand-breaded chicken tenders, grilled or fried cod, and the shrimp and bacon salad

America’s Best Restaurants will be filming on location on Monday March 4th from 9 am to noon EST. The press is invited to attend. The restaurant’s finished episode premiere date will be announced on their Facebook page and will be featured on America’s Best Restaurants’ website.
