Dearborn County GOP is helping bring these presentations to Guilford and Lawrenceburg.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County GOP and The Beacon are partnering with the Indiana Attorney General's Office for two presentations titled, 'Consumer Protection and Scam Prevention'.
The free presentations will both take place on Tuesday, August 25.
The first starts at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 25743 State Road 1 in Guilford. The second presentation will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Lawrenceburg Public Library on Mary Street.
Presented by Janice McHenry, Outreach Representative with the Office of Attorney General Todd Rokita, topics that will be covered include how consumers can protect themselves, data privacy, common scams, how to file a complaint with the AG’s Office, and more.
The presentation will finish up with information on Indiana’s Unclaimed Property, and how consumers can search to see if there are any unclaimed funds held by the State.
