Closure planned on State Road 350 in Pierceville

(Pierceville, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O'Mara Contractor, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 350 in Pierceville on or after Monday, July 7, to complete a box culvert replacement project.

The closure will take place on S.R. 350 between North County Road 450 East and North Old Mill Road located approximately two miles east of State Road 129.

S.R. 350 is expected to reopen in mid-August, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows S.R. 129 to U.S. 50 to S.R. 101.

This work is part of a $1.3 million contract awarded Dave O'Mara in November 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
