The 4th of July fireworks that were postponed due to weather will take place at the Navy Bean Festival.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – The City of Rising Sun has announced a tentative date for their rescheduled fireworks display.
Due to inclement weather, the fireworks on July 1 were postponed and have been moved to Saturday, September 16 to close out the Navy Bean Festival.
In a statement, the City of Rising Sun explained that a rain date was scheduled for Sunday, July 2 but weather concerns arose again.
The company the city is contracted with had other obligations on the 3rd and 4th, so a decision was made to bring the company back in September.
