Extreme cold temperatures and winter weather is expected to hit the region this weekend.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg, Indiana is providing an Emergency Weather Shelter in response to the extreme cold temperatures and winter weather expected for the region. Individuals or families in need will have access to a monitored warm shelter, blankets, cots and water.
WHERE: Lawrenceburg Boy Scout Cabin, 461 West High St., Lawrenceburg IN 47025
WHEN: Starting Saturday, January 13th at 8 am through 8 am on Monday, January 22nd, 2024
Please note that there is limited parking availability at the Boy Scout Cabin. At this time there are no organizational meetings or events scheduled at the Boy Scout Cabin during the Emergency Weather Shelter usage.
Following the 7-day community response period, city officials will re-evaluate the need to continue providing an available Emergency Weather Shelter.
