Wind chills are forecast to be less than five below on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

(Aurora, Ind.) - The City of Aurora, Indiana is providing an Emergency Weather Shelter in response to the extreme cold temperatures and winter weather expected for the region. Individuals or families in need will have access to a monitored warm shelter, blankets, cots and water.
WHERE: Clayton Batchelor Pavillion, 233 City Park Circle, Aurora, IN 47001 (site switched from St. Mary's Activity Center).
WHEN: Starting Saturday, January 13th at 8 am thru 8 am on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024
At this time there are no organizational meetings or events scheduled in the Activity Center during the Emergency Weather Shelter usage.
Following this community 5-day response period, city officials will re-evaluate the need to continue providing an available Emergency Weather Shelter.
