Celebrate 170 Years of History at the Hillforest 170th Jubilee

An Evening of Elegance, Entertainment, and Victorian Charm

(Aurora, Ind.) - The Hillforest Victorian House Museum invites the community to step back in time and join in an a grand celebration of Hillforest's 170th anniversary. 

The 170th Jubilee takes place September 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Hillforest, located at 213 Fifth Street in Aurora. 

Tickets are $50 for members and $55 for non-members and features a bourbon-tasting bar featuring Wenzel Whiskey, hors d'oeuvres catered by Parkside Market, live music, and entertaining games. 

Built in 1855 by the famed architect Isaiah Rogers, Hillforest is a stunning Italianate Victorian design and once served as the opulent home of Thomas and Sarah Gaff, one of Indiana’s most influential families. 

The 170th Jubilee is not only a celebration of Hillforest’s remarkable history but also a chance to support the ongoing preservation of this National Historic Landmark.
