Casino Robbers Convicted In Ohio County

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Two men who robbed dozens of casino winners are likely getting more time in prison.

Ugbe Ojile and Kenyatta Erkins have been convicted in Ohio of following home two dozen winners from southeast Indiana riverboats, and robbing them of thousands of dollars across the tri-state in 2009 and 2010.

WLWT-TV reports the duo was convicted in Ohio County Circuit Court Thursday of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

Last October, Ojile and Erkins were sentenced in Hamilton County to 35 and 31 years, respectively. They’ll be sentenced to up to 50 years when sentenced in Ohio County on April 13.

Ojile and Erkins still face a jury trial in Dearborn County which is scheduled to begin on April 17.
