(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Community members are invited to attend an event focused on how to properly assist during an overdose situation.
CARE Lunch and Learn: Opioid Rapid Response System (ORRS) Naloxone Training Program will take place on Wednesday, June 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ivy Tech Riverfront Campus in downtown Lawrenceburg.
Presenter Cris Henderson, of Indiana University, will speak about a free science-based, online naloxone training program that ensures Citizen Responders know how to properly use naloxone and assist during an overdose situation.
1Voice representatives will also be on hand to share information and an update on the Nalox Boxes installed in local communities.
