Canaan Community Academy Hires Athletic Director

(Madison, Ind.) - Canaan Community Academy (CCA) is committed to adding and building programs for the youth of our community; preparing them to become caring and productive citizens. In a continuing effort to provide our students with what’s best for them through a friendly, caring and hands-on environment plus expand our offerings to allow children to explore, experience and excel. Canaan Community Academy is pleased to announce the hiring of Scott Davidson as the Academy's first ever Athletic Director.

Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this newly created position with over 15 years of youth and adult sports programming through the Madison and Hanover Parks departments along with additional years of coaching and officiating at various levels and in numerous leagues.

“I am looking forward to helping build a successful program that will serve the students and their families and the Canaan community and surrounding areas for years to come. It’s exciting to be part of the beginning of this athletic adventure. My role at the Canaan Community Academy as Athletic Director will not interfere with my responsibilities as the Hanover Parks Department’s league director.” Scott Davidson

The goal is to build the athletic programming at Canaan Community Academy from the ground up which will include working closely with school staff and the community. This will include organizing teams and developing facilities. One of his first priorities will be to plan and oversee the construction of a baseball field. Also, clinics will be offered to the youth in the community this spring. Please watch for more information about the spring clinics.
