Burlington Man Arrested & Charged With Sodomy

(Boone County, Ky.) – A Burlington man has been arrested and charged with sodomy.

Vincente J. Velazquez, 20, was taken into custody on Friday by Boone County Sheriff’s detectives.

According to a news release, Velazquez was found with a young child on his lap by a family member on July 1. After being confronted by the child’s mother, Velazquez allegedly admitted that he sodomized the child.

He is charged with one count of Sodomy 1st Degree – Victim Under 12 Years of Age.

Velazquez is lodged in the Boone County Detention Center on $100,000 cash bond.
