The project is scheduled to start this week.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that a bridge painting project on State Road 101 in Ripley County will begin on or after Wednesday, April 1.
Work will take place on State Road 101 over Interstate 74, just north of Penntown.
Weather permitting, the project is expected to be complete in late July.
During the work, motorists should expect lane shifts using temporary barrier wall on eastbound and westbound I-74 at Exit 156.
This project is part of a contract awarded to Olympus in July 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
