(Franklin County, Ind.) - Crews have successfully installed a new box culvert structure at U.S. 52 and Yellow Bank Creek in Franklin County.
Additional work will take place prior to completion, including retaining wall installation, stone backfill, paving operations, riprap installation, and guardrail installation.
The closure on U.S. 52 is just west of Yellow Bank Road between Metamora and Brookville. U.S. 52 is expected to reopen in early October, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows S.R. 121 to S.R. 44 to S.R. 101 back to U.S. 52
